I'm Christy, the founder and creator of Aloeswood Beauty.

Being born in Alaska and my love of nature has influenced what I do at Aloeswood.

After 25 years in the spa and wellness industry I have grown to realize how important our self care and daily practices have on our lives. This is one reason why I am now expanding my offerings. Teaching all the practices I do to stay grounded and healthy, alongside my massage and esthetician trainings.

I have a deep respect for the healing arts. Touch, sound, plants and movement have had a huge impact on my well-being. Before becoming an esthetician, I practiced massage therapy for over twenty years working with olympic chiropractors, exclusive clientele and bringing my spa experience to spa’s all over the world including Tony Robbin’s Namale Resort, Fiji Islands, Pure Jungle Spa, Costa Rica, Ritual Spa+ Yoga my own creation, Bocas Del Toro, Panama, International Orange, San Francisco, Shou Shugi Ban House, New York, Spa154 in Brooklyn and Garden Club in the Cayman Islands.

One of my specialties is creating new spa treatments and emotional based movement classes with a down to earth approach. At Aloeswood I believe and celebrate the medicinal grade, spirit lifting properties of ancient practices.

You will find ritual in every aspect of my work.

My trainings and workshops are rooted in ancient wisdom with a welcoming approach.

Each training and workshop is a medley of techniques integrated to create a one of a kind intentional experience.

I'm trained in vinyasa yoga, kundalini breath work, and a nutrition coach, with a passion for teaching anatomy, physiology, and Dermatology to everyone. I wrote my thesis on ancient healing and respect all ancestors of every tradition of healing and feel grateful to participate and share the knowledge I continue to learn. I love to mix science with spirituality.

I taught, trained and proctored the international CIDESCO exam until I opened Aloeswood Beauty in 2015.

Cidesco is the world’s most prestigious qualification for Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy.

I am excited to announce I will be opening a store in Vienna 2027. Where I will be offering Bach Flower Consultations, drinks and parties, Yin Yoga, Restorative yoga, breath work classes and hopefully holistic facials. Another dream come true in my life!

The Aloeswood Experience allows every guest to reconnect to that inner light.
